When life gets a little too hot, cool it down. Throw some ice on it. Here is a
step-by-step instruction of how we like to make iced V60 pour-overs at home
+ some coffee equipment we love and recommend!
What we use to make this coffee:
⁃Ceramic Pour Over
⁃Glass Coffee Server
⁃Scales (you can also use a measuring spoon)
Prepare 21.5g of freshly roasted Guji, Ethiopia, and grind it on a medium grind setting.
We're big fans of Hario hand grinder.
Boil water and pour some into the V60 to wet the paper filter. This will help to remove
any residual paper taste.
Add about 140 g of ice cubes to your server. The bigger cubes, the better.
LET IT BLOOM
Pour the first round of water in a circular motion just enough to cover all the coffee
grounds, and let the coffee bloom for 30 seconds.
Take your time to slowly pour the rest of the water over the grounds until you have
reached 220 g. This should take around 2:30-3:00 minutes.
Gently stir, pour in your favorite glass, sit down and relax!
